Networking Lunch

“Networking Lunch” is a short comedic film about a woman who agrees to meet up with her ex for lunch. It stars Kimberly Michelle Vaughn (She The People, Second City’s 107th Mainstage Revue) and David Pasquesi (VEEP, Angels & Demons, The Book of Boba Fett).


It has been screened at more than a dozen film festivals all over the world, was a Best Actress Award Finalist at the Austin Comedy Short Film Festival, a finalist in the Best Shorts Fest and the winner of the Best Comedy Award at the Oregon Short Film Festival and the Madcap Comedy Short Film Festival.

Melissa graduated from the Harold Ramis Film School (HRFS) at Second City Chicago in August 2018. Melissa completed the yearlong intensive course and graduated with an extensive knowledge of the directing and producing process for comedic filmmakers. She was also one of the first recipients of the annual Harold Ramis Film School Screenwriting Fellowship.

Female improvisers often find themselves onstage, much like in life, subconsciously pressured into playing a limited number of roles- wives, girlfriends and mothers. To many, many women in improv this is frustrating and offensive. Jean is not one of these women.
